A study comparing the efficacy of doravirine and ritonavir-boosted darunavir in adult patients with HIV who were treatment-naive found that doravirine was just as effective as darunavir, with 84% of 383 patients in the doravirine group having plasma HIV-1 RNA less than 50 copies per mL versus 80% in the darunavir group. The findings were published in the journal The Lancet HIV last month.
